These solid graphite/fiberglass composite ice fishing rod blanks are designed with the walleye fisherman in mind. Faster action and more backbone than the Microlite series rod blanks. To finish your ice rod, add handle, guides and our special microlite top. Rod blank is 39" long, black with blaze orange tip. from the ice to a kids first rod the blank fit the build.
no one thinks of small rods for kids, didn't want a toy rod so I built my grandson a nice small spinning rod with this blank, has good action and strength should be a good fit for a seven year old's first real fishing rod.
