Our Netcraft IM6 7'9" 3 weight fly rod building kit features a Netcraft Sportsman’s Series IM6 graphite rod blank that is lightweight, strong and sensitive. The 296403 blank is a 2 piece blank, 7’9” long rated for 3 weight line with integral ferrule and matte black finish. This fly rod kit is a great choice when looking for a light power rod for casting dry and light wet flies. Excellent for panfish and small trout when fishing streams, ponds and lakes. This rod building kit includes the same quality parts and materials used by major rod manufacturers to deliver a high performance fishing rod. Netcraft kits come with all the parts and material needed to complete your rod. Each kit includes a rod blank, cork grips, reel seat has a wood insert with aluminum hardware, handle parts, guides with matching top, epoxy glue, thread and thread finish, stir sticks, brushes, mixing cups and instructions. Some basic tools like sandpaper, razor blades, scissors and a rat tail file (for reaming cork) will be needed.
