Our Netcraft 8'6" 5 weight fly rod building kit features a Netcraft Sportsman’s Series IM6 graphite rod blank that is incredibly lightweight, strong and sensitive. The 296406 blank is a 2 piece blank, 8’6” long rated for 5 weight line with integral ferrule and matte black finish. The 296406 will make a nice light bass and trout rod. Casting light poppers or bead head flies will be no trouble at all. This blank can also be used for panfish. This rod building kit includes the same quality parts and materials used by major rod manufacturers to deliver a high performance fishing rod you will be proud to own. Netcraft kits come with all the parts and material needed to complete your rod. Each kit includes a rod blank, cork grips, reel seat has a wood insert with aluminum hardware, handle parts, guides with matching top, epoxy glue, thread and thread finish, stir sticks, brushes, mixing cups and instructions. Some basic tools like sandpaper, razor blades, scissors and a rat tail file (for reaming cork) will be needed. The Rod Blank is covered under our 2 Year Warranty.
