The 296462 rod blank is a one piece blank, 7’ long designed for lures weighing ¼-1oz with a fast action and a matte black finish. The 296462 is a good all around multi species blank You can use this rod for many applications from throwing jigs, worms and unweighted soft plastics to buzz baits, spinner baits and crankbaits. This rod building kit includes the same quality parts and material used by major rod manufacturers to deliver a high performance fishing rod you will be proud to own. Netcraft kits come with all the parts and material needed to complete your rod. Each kit includes a rod blank, cork grips, graphite reel seat, handle parts, guides with matching top, epoxy glue, thread and thread finish, stir sticks, brushes, mixing cups and instructions. Some basic tools like sandpaper, razor blades, scissors and a rat tail file (for reaming cork) will be needed.
