The Netcraft 6' medium heavy power casting rod building kit features a Netcraft Sportsman’s Series IM6 graphite rod blank that is incredibly lightweight, strong and sensitive. The 296481 rod blank is a one piece blank, 6’ long designed for lures weighing ¼-3/4oz with a fast action and a matte black finish. The 296481 is a great rod blank for fishing in and around heavy cover with medium to large topwaters. The short length gives you excellent accuracy and lure control. The length will also allow you to work "walking" baits with rod tip down for better control and there’s still plenty of power in the butt-section to handle that surprise lunker. This rod building kit includes the same quality parts and material used by major rod manufacturers to deliver a high performance fishing rod you will be proud to own. Netcraft kits come with all the parts and material needed to complete your rod. Each kit includes a rod blank, cork grips, graphite reel seat, handle parts, guides with matching top, epoxy glue, thread and thread finish, stir sticks, brushes, mixing cups and instructions. Some basic tools like sandpaper, razor blades, scissors and a rat tail file (for reaming cork) will be needed.
