Saltwater butts are anodized to prevent corrosion and scratching. The alignment ferrule pin, gimbal and rear hood are locked for fast perfect alignment. The .873 inch ferrules have an O ring to keep out moisture and are precision machined for interchangeability of rods. Collet nut has a Teflon ring to stop moisture and corrosion. Reverse knurling of the collet nut and double locknuts prevents rod scratches during transport. Class 30-50 lb. Butt Ferrule I.D., .873", O.D. is .970', 17.75" length.
