The Pacific Bay AB2C aluminum saltwater butt's curved design gives the fisherman extra fish fighting leverage. Machined from high grade aluminum for strength and durability. One piece rod handle and reel seat are swaged and machined. Saltwater butts are anodized to prevent corrosion and scratching. The alignment ferrule pin, gimbal and rear hood are locked for fast perfect alignment. The .873 inch ferrules have an O ring to keep out moisture and are precision machined for interchangeability of rods. Collet nut has a Teflon ring to stop moisture and corrosion. Reverse knurling of the collet nut and double locknuts prevents rod scratches during transport. Class 30-50 lb. Butt Ferrule I.D., .873", O.D. is .970". 17.75" length. Gimbal end.
