Spinner Blades

Spinner blades come in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and finishes. Blade finish works with the shape of the spinner blade to reflect light. A smooth finish spinner blade reflects light from only one point of the blade. Hammered finished spinner blades reflect light from most of their surface. Spinner blade size plays a part in determining how deep a lure will run. Large spinner blades give more lift to a fishing lure than small spinner blades so large spinner blade lures will run shallower than small spinner blade lures.
The shape of the spinner blade determines how fast and how far from the shaft a spinner blade will spin. Shape also affects how easy a blade is to start. Spinner blades are made in different colors to help you match your bait to the fishing conditions. Weather, water clarity and water temperature all play a part in what fish will strike.
