| Our IF1009 rod building kit features a Rainshadow RX7 43 million modulus high strain graphite rod blank that is lightweight with superb strength and sensitivity. The IF1009 rod blank is a 2 piece blank, 10’ long rated for 9 weight line with a moderate action and a stealth grey finish. When you need a longer cast and the ability to keep pressure on your hooked fish the IF1009 is a fine choice. The added length will help when fishing for salmon, pike, musky, redfish, snook and medium size tarpon. These fish at times can call for larger fly patterns such as crab and minnow patterns to large salmon flies and streamers. This blank can handle the flies and the fish.
This rod building kit includes the same quality parts and materials used by major rod manufacturers to deliver a high performance fishing rod you will be proud to own. Netcraft kits come with all the parts and material needed to complete your rod. Each kit includes a rod blank, cork grips, graphite reel seat, handle parts, guides with matching top, epoxy glue, thread and thread finish, stir sticks, brushes, mixing cups and instructions. Some basic tools like sandpaper, razor blades, scissors and a rat tail file (for reaming cork) will be needed.
