When choosing a rod building glue to bond cork rings, reel seats, grips, butt caps etc., consider shrinkage, strength and dry time. Generally, the longer the dry time, the stronger the bond. Our 2 part epoxy rod building glues exhibit minimal shrinkage and are very strong. Contact cement like Pliobond remains flexible and is a good choice for cork rings.

FLEXCOAT GUIDE FOOT ADHESIVE

Flexcoat guide foot adhesive makes positioning guides for wrapping much easier. Just warm up the adhesive, put a dab on each guide foot and position the guide on your rod blank. Guide foot adhesive has a very low melting point which makes it easy to work with and it can't damage your rod blank.
