To eliminate sags and runs in the finish applied to a rod, the rod must either be turned by hand until the finish sets up, or by use of a power rod dryer. Forecast rod dryer can be used to both stop sags in the fresh rod finish and smoothly apply rod finish to thread wraps. The Forecast rod dryer features a PVC chuck, 12 RPM, 110 Volt motor, and rod stand with set pins for securing the rod blank via rubber bands.
