Many aberdeen jig hook models will fit Do-It molds with little or no modification. Check your jig mold to confirm which jig hooks the mold is designed to use.
It is often possible to use different models and sizes of jig hooks than those specified in your jig mold. Some hooks will fit directly into the jig mold without modification. When attempting to substitute a jig hook, place the jig hook into the mold and gently close the mold on the hook. Do not try to press the mold shut. Pressing the mold closed on an ill fitting jig hook can damage and even ruin a jig mold. Sometimes a slight bend of the jig hook or removing a small bit of material from the mold face willl allow the jig hook to fit.
